Lent at HTLC
Sunday, March 2 ~ 8:45-9:45 am Prepare for Lent Thru Prayer / Pancake Breakfast
Join us for a warm pancake breakfast as we prepare our hearts and minds for Lent. If you’re fasting from a food item this season, consider bringing it to share! Experience interactive Lenten Prayer Stations and pick up devotional materials for personal or family use (a freewill offering will be collected for some materials).
Lenten Prayer Stations – March 2 Throughout Lent in the Gathering Space & Commons
Engage in prayer like never before! Each station will invite you to pray in creative ways using everyday objects — band-aids, Legos, maps, Scrabble letters, and more — to deepen your connection with God. Stop by anytime throughout Lent.
Family Devotional Videos – Tuesdays starting March 4
Families will receive a weekly video link that complements the Lenten Family Devotional materials available at the Pre-Lenten Fair. These short videos will help spark meaningful discussions, guiding families to grow in faith together.
Ash Wednesday Worship – Wednesday, March 5
Join us as we begin Lent with the Imposition of Ashes and Holy Communion at two service times:
12:00 Noon – Soup & Salad Lunch to follow
6:30 pm – Baked Potato and Salad Bar from 5:30 – 6:30 pm (A freewill offering will be collected)
Lenten Book Study & Lunch – Wednesdays at Noon: March 12, 19, 26 & April 2, 9
Join us for a 40-day Journey with Dietrich Bonhoeffer edited by Ron Klug – a devotional book study accompanied by a Soup & Salad lunch. Each day’s reading includes scripture, a reflection from Bonhoeffer, discussion questions, and a prayer. Books available at church or can be ordered independently. Can’t make it in person? Use the book for your own Lenten devotion. (No judgement if you didn’t read – Just join us!)
Prayer Around the Cross – Wednesdays at 6:00 pm: March 12, 19, 26 & April 2, 9 ~ Gathering Space
A sacred time of responsive prayer as we lift up our congregation, community, country, and world. Join us for a guided experience of spoken and silent prayer.

Classics Senior Adult Group
The Classics Lunch and Games
WE HAD SO MUCH FUN, WE’RE DOING IT AGAIN!
Join us for a potluck lunch and games day on Friday, March 21st at the church. We’ll meet at 11:30 AM and eat around noon. Don’t worry if you can’t bring a dish—come enjoy the fellowship! Volunteers to organize games/cards are welcome. To RSVP, email classics@holytrinityleesburg.org.
Looking ahead, we’ve reserved 20 tickets for the matinee of Singing in the Rain at the Shenandoah Music Theatre on Saturday, July 12th. Tickets may cost $39 each based on attendance. A 50% deposit is due by April 27th, with final payments later if needed. Plan to share a meal before or after the show.

Chasing Seasons – Moms of middle to college age kids
Are you a MOM navigating the ever- changing seasons of parenting school- aged (elementary, middle, high school, college age) kids? Join us for an evening of fun, fellowship, and connection! We’ll meet once a month on Thursday nights at The Dell in the Village of Leesburg for bingo. Games run from 7-9pm, and you’re welcome to come and stay for a round or two. Whether you’re here for laughs, support, or simply a night out, this is the perfect space to share life’s joys and challenges with other moms. We can’t wait to see you there!

YOUTH SINGERS is a vocal group that rehearses once a month on Sunday evenings before Youth group and sings for worship approximately once a month! We have a lot of fun and all Middle and High School students are invited to join us!! No previous experience is necessary!
YOUTH GROUP meets once a month on Sunday evenings and for other scheduled activities. All Middle and High School Youth are invited to join us for fun, games, God talk and prayer!

Wednesday Night, LIVE!!
Choirs, Fellowship, Food!
This fun evening of music and fellowship has been a Holy Trinity tradition for more than 20 years. If you are in Joyful Noise (Children’s Choir Grades K-5,) Handbells (Grade 6-Adult,) or Confirmation, or just don’t feel like cooking, plan to join us on Wednesday evening for dinner. There is no need to bring anything. Meals will be ready and a freewill offering will be collected to defray the cost of the food. Each week the dinner menu will be sent out and we simply ask that you let us know if you plan to attend. (Even if you forget to tell us, we still would love to have you!) We Started November 13, 2024, and will continue thru the spring.
The schedule for the evening is as follows:
4:30-5:30pm Confirmation (Youth)
5:30 – 6:00 pm Dinner (Freewill offering to defray the cost of dinner)
6:00 – 6:50pm Children’s Choir – Sing & Ring (Grades K-5)
7-8:00 pm Hand Bell Choir (Middle School – Adult)
