LBPS – About Us

About Our School

Established in 2000 as a ministry of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Little Blessings is a Christian preschool and learning center designed for children two through five years old.  In compliance with the Code of Virginia, Section 63.2-1716, this Center is religiously exempt from licensure and is classified as a "religiously exempt child day center."

A Preschool Committee under the direction of Church Council is responsible for oversight of the preschool.  The Preschool Director, under the supervision of the Pastor, is responsible for day-to-day operations of the preschool.

Our lead teachers have bachelor’s degrees.  Staff members are required to have background checks and they will include other states a person has lived in the past five years. In addition, all staff are trained to use an Epi-pen and are certified in First Aid and CPR.

Our Philosophy

Little Blessings Preschool is a program designed to enhance the early spiritual, social, physical, and intellectual needs of our children.  Our goal is to foster growth in these four areas in a safe, nurturing, child-centered environment. Children learn best through play, visible examples, and discovery.

Everyone attends Chapel and Music Class weekly.
