Reading Buddy Outreach Volunteer opportunity:
Meadow Glen Assisted Living (315 Dry Mill Rd, SW. Leesburg)
Wanted: several volunteers willing to spend 30ish minutes reading short, uplifting stories or poems of your choice to people who live at Meadow Glen. It is a small (38 people) facility with people who have various capabilities.
Time: Once a month for 30 ish minutes
Talents: Willingness to smile, read and share some of your time with others, be a day brightener!
The Activity Director at Meadow Glen is very excited to work with us and is purposely keeping the opportunity fluid and open till we get it up and running.
