Blessing of the Backpacks

Students of all ages are invited to bring their backpacks to worship on Sunday, August 20, for a blessing. Backpacks hold an important role in the life of al- most every student: they carry work to and from school, they carry lunches and snacks, and sometimes they even carry food home for the weekend! On this day the congregation will affirm their support for these students and we will bless the backpacks and the students as they begin another year of learning.

All backpacks are welcome!
