Please Donate – Help Close the Gap

Your faithful giving supports essentials like salaries, mortgage, utilities, inspections, maintenance, repairs, as well as our ministries within and outside the church.  We are grateful for every gift, big and small.  Let’s work together to fund our weekly mission.

Current building care projects include some larger projects that require licensed tradespeople due to their scale or technical complexity. These critical projects demand immediate attention:

  1. Roof Replacement

The church roof is in critical condition, exhibiting active leaks and material degradation. It has
surpassed its useful lifespan and poses a serious risk to the building’s structural integrity and interior
contents. A complete roof replacement is essential.
Estimated Cost: $150,000 (Re-quoted for 2025)

2. HVAC System Replacement

Three remaining HVAC units, each approximately 20 years old, are still operational but nearing the end of their functional life. While semi-annual preventative maintenance has extended their viability,
each unit is subject to sudden failure, necessitating immediate replacement without prior warning.
Estimated Costs: $16,500, $18,700, and $13,900 (2022)
Total: $50,000

We are grateful for the support that makes these repairs possible. Every gift helps us steward this sacred space with care, and to continue to sustain our required financial obligations.

If you feel called to share your talents in being a part of our property team, please contact the church office or Matt Shultz.

Wednesdays in Lent ~ 12:00Noon

Join Pastor Kristin in the Commons for a soup and salad lunch and discussion of “cross” songs: “The Old Rugged Cross,” “Jesus Keep Me Near the Cross,” “Beneath the Cross of Jesus,” and more.  We’ll learn a little about the hymn’s history and explore how the text illuminates our understanding of the cross.

All are welcome!

Making Sense of the Cross

Sunday Mornings Starting February 22, from 8:45 – 9:45 am

We see the cross everywhere: In our church, as a piece of jewelry, in tattoos, and in many other places, both sacred and secular. However, the heart of the cross is an element of mystery that can’t be resolved either easily or entirely. Join us on Sunday mornings from 8:45 -9:45 as we listen in on a conversation between two people having an open and candid discussion about the cross and explore together the following questions: So, what’s with the cross? What does the cross say about God? What’s the big deal? Did Jesus have to die?

Participants are invited to read the book: Making Sense of the Cross, by David Lose, and available through Holy Trinity or Amazon.  If reading is not your thing, no worries, just join us on Sunday mornings.
